‘I Want To Be A Filmmaker’ will be hosted by Julia Farhana Marin together with Hafizz Bahari and will feature two (2) permanent jury members; Major (H) David Teo and Raja Azmi, producer and author.
The audition was held earlier in August by Mangkin Prestij Sdn Bhd which called upon teenagers with the age between 18 until 22 years old who have a minimum education background of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Diploma, and have the commitment and creativity to become Malaysia’s next future filmmaker.

The ‘I Want to Be a Filmmaker’ programme will feature 10 episodes of one (1) hour each week where the contestants will be assigned to a project and at the end of the episode, their efforts will be reviewed by the panel of jury, including a guest jury. The jury will then eliminate the weakest contestant while the winner of each episode will win an immunity, avoiding them from being eliminated in the next episode.
‘I Want to Be a Filmmaker’ will premiere on HyppInspirasi HD (HyppTV Channel 111) starting 16 December 2015, every Wednesday at 10.00 pm. More officials photo during the ‘I Want To Be A Filmmaker’ launch here.
