It been few month, I'm do not stay Kuala Lumpur areas (Wilayah Persekutuan) and move to Selangor areas. Not every Selangor areas connect to LRT yet(will be done soon) or the areas is nearby KTM. It will be really not so convenient if you did not have own transport or vehicle (motorcycle or car).
I did search google to get more information how to travel from my area (Selangor) to Kuala Lumpur but it did not have any latest update. There will be some ways to travel from my area ( Aman Putri) to Kuala Lumpur, estimate time and cost to reach the destination (All information is from my experience).
First and all you can travel with your own transport (motorcycle/car). It will take you around 45 minutes to 1 hours to reach Kuala Lumpur areas.
Not only that, you able to travel by cab (taxi). Nowadays with improvement of technology, we able to connect taxi driver easier by using application (myteksi or grabcar). I did try to travel from my area to Kelana Jaya LRT and it costs me around RM 35.00 and it take around 35 minutes to reach the destination. *The price will be much more higher when you travelling midnight*

It will pass by KTM Sungai Buloh if you travel by bus from my area. It will only charge RM 1.00 to RM 2.00 and it takes about 25 minutes to reach.
Here is my tips and experience travel from my areas to Kuala Lumpur. I'm always try to travel from places to places by myself without disturbing others. Hope this post really useful for everyone that needs it.
